I haven't touched them in a while, but yeah, I can see your point. A little noise or grunge would help.
Yeah, with my job I get a lot of poster art and dvd art for films and even the stuff from big-budget movies use noise filters and grain to hide seams in stitching and retouching. If you strip those layers away, the artwork for these multi-million dollar movies look hilariously amateur... It's inspiring in a way.
No where near as far along as I had hoped (the downside to using friends as actors), but I managed to throw this teaser together.
