    Are you guys using mini's?
    Any suggestions?

My mini's came from two main sources, the Doom Boardgame by FFG and the Zombies!!! boardgame pieces (which arguably work better) (creator forgotten)

I also use the Zombies!!! minis when needed. Having a variety helps though so you can tell which zombies are special.

Yeah, I often end up crossing over between different games, the Doom mini's are good for the gluttons and rarer zeds, and the Zombies!!! for more normal zeds.

That said I remember using a plushie toy turtle before in a particularly dramatic D&D session, sometimes you've just got to work with what you've got

Zombies!!! are our mainstay, but I use Mantic ghouls as well.

Please tell me more about the Doom minis. I didn't even know they had a range. I would like to throw in (and pimp, if I may) that the Gears of War minis from the board game work extremely well for Outbreak: Deep Space... COMING SOON! <</shameful self promotion>>... and I'm pimping Outbreak: Deep Space... not the GoW board game. I have very mixed feelings on the board game, but the minis are really really good.

And I play 40k, I'm pretty familiar with proxies too :P

I had a whole unit of Tyranid Lictors proxied with joke conversions I made with spare carnifex parts... the name of those beasts were Crabulon and Crabulon Jr.
