Since I've begun preparing for the next part of my campaign, I realized that I didn't like having to come up with everything about a character from scratch. I needed some seeds and thus, Personal Pandora Generator was born!
There's a category for likes/dislikes, a category for personality traits, and a category for skills (strengths/weaknesses). Right now, there are 100 possibilities in each category. For example, lets say you select skill and "cooking" pops up; either take it as a skill that the character does successfully or as an action the character is terrible at. Depending on how the community responds and my own needs, I'll expand the program in different ways.
If you find any misspelled words, figure out a better way to say something, or have any ideas, please let me know!
Just to further clarify, besides containing some traits and skills that correspond to some in O:U, this is primarily to help build up a character and give them some seeds for more realistic conversations. Just to continue my earlier example, lets say the character takes the cooking skill as a weakness (terrible cook). Well, now you can use that in a conversation an NPC is in to give it a more realistic feel.

I think I got everybody, but let me know if I forgot you!
This was great! Thanks for sharing :)
Thanks guys! I'm open to suggestions!

While working on the random age generator (and looking at some different algorithms for generating random numbers), my gf said that I should make the age generator weighted to be more likely to come up with a number between 20 and 40. So far I have been doing features I only want and this one at this point would be unnecessary for me. Would anybody here like to see this feature (I'd include an on and off switch)? And again, ideas are welcome!
Planned updates:
More possibilities, a motto generator, and a big surprise.

I really like this MP. You did a great job doing the UI interface. Has it been helpful in your games?
Thanks, though if you ever read that PM from a while back you know where I am headed with this (and I hope that's alright).
So far, I've been preparing for a campaign with it and it definitely helps me plan out the NPCs for it. Lately, I've been working on members of a S.W.A.T. team that my players run into and have gotten some pretty unique characters. My players love plot so I am really trying to flesh it out this time around with more in-depth characters, though I haven't gotten that far into it yet (don't worry, I'm not a strict GM; my plans are to be very adaptable).

It looks like I am now done with adding features to this part of the tool and will be working on the surprise.
I could use some help though (not on the surprise), if any one will volunteer his/her time. My lists of possibilities need to be spell-checked, content checked, and have more content added. The only things I can offer in return are credit, a pat on the back, and my thanks.
Edit: The motto generator is supposed to be used as a quote that basically states a character's outlook on life.

How is this project going? I really look forward for your updated release :)
It is coming along slowly, but coming along nonetheless. Real life stuff got in the way for the last week, but I'll be ramping up production tomorrow.
What I am thinking about doing after I finish the necessary code (how tiers and skills and bonuses and stats, etc. interact), is to release a v.0.4 beta that wouldn't have all the skills and types implemented. Then I'll want opinions and/or help with making the GUI better while I implement the rest of the skills and types and whatever else.

Yes, it will apply the stat changes, give you whatever skills the type has, and then let you pick skills.

I have to tell you MP this is looking amazing. I am really impressed with your design.
Thanks guys! The GUI is still subject to change (nothing too drastic) before I release the v. 0.4 . I hope to eventually make the GUI look really nice (with help from others!).

I care for fancy graphics :)
Wow. This looks great!!!
I thought I'd make what I'm doing a little more transparent, here's a list of what I have left to do before I release v. 0.4:
1. Finish the basic way skill requirements are checked.
2. Finish the basic way skill bonuses are applied and un-applied.
3. Code in the remove skill button.
4. Code in the auto-stats feature.
5. Implement all the Types and Skills (with each Tier Level).
5.1 Code in non-basic requirements and bonuses as needed.
6. Code in Yourself as a Character (basically same as template, but without any restrictions)
7. Update the original Pandora's traits, likes/dislikes, etc. dictionaries.
8. Add it to the new Pandora.
9. Misc.
Don't worry, I've been working on this (if I hadn't been, this list would contain 2 or 3 times as many items).
